Haiti, the poorest Country in the Western Hemisphere, was hit with a deadly 7.0 magnitude earthquake on Tuesday, January 12th 2010.
The offices of major international relief agencies have been toppled, making rescue efforts nearly impossible. The City of Port- Au- Prince appears to be in ruins and hundred of thousands of people are living in and near of the Capital have been affected and are in need of emergency medical treatment. The are also facing hunger disease and untold other risks.
FHED, INC., a US-based 501 (c) 3 International Relief Organization is urging everyone to help Haiti by providing humanitarian aid and assistance to people in Port-Au-Prince. This is a horrendous disaster and anything you donate will make a difference in the lives of our fellow brothers and sisters in Haiti. They are in need of money, food, clean clothes, and medical supplies.
